I am a self taught artist who for many years has explored the art of painting from detailed realism to pure abstraction. I have never liked to be pigeon holed as an artist and have refused to choose between abstraction and realism in developing my craft. I find that abstraction and realism can easily co-exist and are both routed in composition, form, colour and tone. Areas which in my work I choose to explore.
