About
Born in the Netherlands 1959.
After initially having a succesful career in marketing Caroline returned to her greatest passion.......to paint.
Caroline has very recently (september 2008) moved to London from her homecountry ,the Netherlands.
Before that she lived in the the Philippines, the USA, Czech Republic and Belgium for the last 20 years.
As a citizen of the world she is mesmerized by the totality of what nature has to offer. Color, force of nature, texture, shapes, species.... just superb designs. Little details or a colorcombination triggers her attention and those are often the startingpoints of her paintings. From there on developing an own rhythm a new insight.
After initially mastering a realistic style....she now likes to wander of that path and is developing a more abstract approach, deconstructing and building it up again, showing the specific way her world is viewed.

Caroline studied Museology in Leiden at the Reinwardt Academy.
