French and American artist Carol Denn
grew up in Yorktown, Virginia. After studing in art in Paris and the Uk, I now work from my studio near Bath in England.
My oil paintings on linen canvas create different visual planes by mixing hand painted personal and invented narratives with flat stencil, text, collage and found objects like bees.

I have a BA in Art History with a minor in Communications from the University of Georgia in 2000.
In Paris, I studied figure drawing for three years with the ADAC studios and a semester of oil painting at the LEcole du Beaux Arts, Paris.
I completed my Masters in Fine Art at Bath Spa University in the Uk in Sept. 2008 where my exhibition resulted in a sell out show and further commissions.
