About

I am an artist who collects inspiration by wandering through streets, cities, most of the time guessing my way. Mind open capting impressions that talk to me and make me think, unusual stuff. I take those moments up in my brain or camera. Let them make their way through time, maturing into intens feelings and emotions. Taking my time for them to come to the surface. When time is ripe, I start to be able to share those moments and to express myself. I'll be painting. The mood I am in on the moment of the coming out determines the colors, darkness or brightness.
I start working on the images. Though through out the process the images fade away and become adstractions, back to moments again.
When I feel free, the moments become endless time, open spaces. When I'm tight, the moments will be framed, time stops, the experience stops.
When I get stuck and am empty of muse, it's high time to get out again, loosing myself in the impressions around me.

I believe that the reason why I am making art and why I am so sensitive to it has many sources and is an addition and combination of bits and pieces that can be found in ones biography : kind of childhood, education, teenagers dreams, what became reality, how high did I reach, how low did I fall, sexuality, lovers, hope, dealing with loneliness, coming back to the material world, having to prove oneself, expectations. Finally coming home, coming to peace with oneself and flowing into a stadium where one is able to release all these emotions and let creativity flow.

Art has been, and is to me, music, writing, drawing and painting and thats what Ive been enjoying doing all my life. I am continuously trying and searching for new ways of expressing myself, so then Art will even represent more of my feelings, moods, intensions.Whatever is going on inside of me, the level of intensity of the momentany emotional bucket overflowing, all the influences that come upon me at that same time (scenes on the street, music in my ears, book or paper Ive been reading, how morning rituals go on), making and living my art allows me to switch off from reality and to surrender myself to all these sensations and feelings. I'm far away transforming them into visual pleasure and feel light hearted when Ive made my statement.

My latest work is all a reflection of what the city streets offer me. I snap it up in my camera or eyes and lay it down drawing or painting. During the realisation of a work I enjoy the process of revealing and hiding the impressions that the city is giving me, the process of building and taking down and to build back up again. Thats how a city grows, thats how my work grows.Up to the next space, the next style, new wanderings.
