Born Fort Jameson, Northern Rhodesia (now Chipata Zambia) 1957, as parents were doing the Colonial thing.
Moved to England aged 8 and been here since.
Always carried a camera and left job in advertising in 2001 to pursue photography.

Education

Art school in Manchester and then got a job as an art director at Saatchi & Saatchi.. There the whole of the 80's, working with and learning from great photographers, directors and art directors. Absorbed 'the strength of the idea'.
Then worked at various agencies including BBH and a creative directorship at American agency OWN+P.
As stated above, left mainstream advertising in 2001..
