I'm a London based artist with a global conscious. After graduating from the Slade school of Art in 2003 I worked as a club DJ playing and promoter, Youth Worker, Learning Mentor and Freelance Creative until finally returning to life as a professional artist in 2011. In 2 years I've featured in a number of group shows and have worked with some exciting clients.

The work featured here represents the main focus of my practice, centered around culture, race and conflict. There's a deep personal influence in all the paintings often with a serious but satirical narrative. All of three topics have a resonance within my own life and generally what I absorb as an observer. Using painting as the basis, I wish to expand to include performance and installation in the near future.

Directional Light is a constant in all my work, as I'm fascinated with the transformation of flat natured composition. I like to play with perspective, obscure camera angles and proportions to achieve a heightened visual effect. The role of music provides much of the cultural stimulus and pace to my work.
