Barbara Bonfilio she graduated in painting at the Accademia Albertina in Turin in 2000.
In 2011 selected for the ITALY PAVILION - VENICE BIENNAL 54a / Calabria Pavilion and won the Jury Prize at the Premio Matteo Olivero, in 2010 won the Special Prize of the Biennal Prize Artemisia, Sebastiano Conca Prize in 2006 and in 2004 won the First International Painting prize of the competition "Elena Miro" awarded by Vittorio Sgarbi and gallery owner Antonia Jannone.
In 2007 she participated to "Moulhouse 007": Talents of the European academies. Finalist in prestigious awards including the Biennial Prize of Painting Felice Casorati, the Morlotti Prize, the Prize Carlo Dalla Zorza, the Combat Award Prize; she was published in the catalog 2004, 2007, 2008 of the Prize Celeste.
Artistically active in Italy with several personal and group exhibitions. Some of her works are part of private and public collections, including the Permanent Collection of the Art Gallery of Gaeta, the Collection Miroglio and the collection Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio of Cuneo.
