For me painting is writing in the visual language which creates an expression that is beyond words.
I work from photographs using them as a skeleton or core of reality. I like best to push the motif almost to abstraction as in my painting "Paparazzi".
I believe that to become a work of art, every square centimeter must relate to every other square centimeter of the piece.
