I grew up in the small Mallee town of Walpeup,situated in the north western part of Victoria .Between the little desert to the north , to the south and the sunset county, to some god own country.AT a very early age my father shaped my interest in the arts and the Australian bush.I remember as a small child sitting around the breakfast table with the sun streaming through the split bamboo blinds , with dad listening to the A B C breakfast show with Russ Tisane on the radio. When opera Romeo and Juliet came on with the balcony, dad care fully explained to us the love scene as it unfold on the radio .
As a child i played in the bush straight out side the door ,gaining a great love and understanding of nature.My Father had a great love of the arts and keep much treasured art books .
