Born 1971 Christchurch New Zealand. Grew up in beautiful Napier. Lived in Brisbane, Melbourne, Fremantle, Coastal Victoria.
1991 began creating work in colour - meeting many characters themes and patterns.
2001 development of patterns, progression "when night turns into day".
2003 Influenced by Maori culture and legends.
2007 Patterns by the sea, Torquay.
2011 Re-evaluation
Influenced by mythology,Carl Jung, Carlos Casteneda, De Pak Chopra, Dalai Lama, Bjork, Nana and Grand-dad's farm, family legends, shamanism, Mother Nature, The Abstract, Shaun Tan, James Davis, Peter Graham.

Interested in storytelling. Have recently reconnected with family heritage, Maori art, history and culture.
