Art Description

Located on the construction site of the upcoming Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Manhattan, Walking Men 99™ is a site-specific public art installation that joins together photographs of 99 pedestrian traffic lights icons from cities around the globe, created by artist Maya Barkai, in conjunction with the Re:Construction program by the Alliance for Downtown NY, and Artea Projects. This installation, part of the Walking Men Worldwide™ Project, and is currently on display on 99 Church Street, New York, NY 10007. This is the 2nd edition of the project, which was installed in May 2011 and will remain on view through 2012. For More information, please visit www.walking-men.com
