This series is definitely the desire to experiment with other techniques and other forms of expression.
Through the realization of these seven sculptures, I wanted to recreate and describe some situations.
Symbolically and through a stylized design and communication, is studied and the proposed western individual and some different attitudes toward intimacy, his home, the world around him, (that is - out of -), and against his fellow man.
The house, at this point, in its fullest sense, and here represented by only two overlapping coloured boards, becomes a sort of - an intermediate environment - the glue or separator between the' human individuality and the outside world. Equally important role plays the hole punch, the 'opening, designed by me, that moves and changes shape in different realizations in the different sculptures of the series. Likewise, the human figure relates to their homes and their lives through different attitudes that give the title to each of them.
The series has been realized in Medium Density chipboard then lacquered.
The base of each figure is designed to interlock with the other and thereby constitute complete collection.
This kind of artwork can be designed on commission too, with other subjects, to be proposed as a large object on the wall or in interior design too, as, for example, the divider between different environments/functions in private, representative and commercial spaces.
