...getting free..... is a slender and seemingly slight figure, made entirely of raw gypsum, with the exception of the hands, face and hair, completed with maximum precision which can lead the lifecasting. The woman's body, which resembles in the installation a bird trapped in the oil, that tries to take flight, is prone to an elevation that extends from the physical gesture to the desires, aspirations and the desire to escape and has to fight the constraints that bind her at the soil and that could prevent the rise. The work expresses the tense moment in which the spirit trapped finally rebels, conveys the intensity of conflict pre-flight and liberating glimpse, through the hands and face, the euphoric and progressive abandonment of every yoke. Symbolically represents the momentum of the artist, the professional phase of revival that has as an emblematic moment of the arrival in Venice AleDima the day of his fortieth birthday and, finally, shows the passion he has taken flight in the space of art, through the experimentation with materials.
