Le logo USB est un graphisme reconnu universellement symbolisant la connexion entre deux éléments numérique. Ici le dessin prend une 3ème dimension pour devenir un volume jouant sur les frontières de la sculpture et du design, de l’industriel et de l’artisanal. L’objet devient difficilement identifiable : est-il un objet design (porte manteau) ? ; ou encore un objet artistique (sculpture) ?; ou bien est-il un objet signalétique (enseigne publicitaire) ?. Jouant sur une échelle inhabituelle et une mise en volume d’un objet plan, l’artiste crée une sorte d’hypertrophie de la mémoire collective du logo USB lui retirant tout signifiant et en l’élevant au rang d’art.
