    Rita Ruggeri These statue lamps represent what I am as an artist in that they are simplified portraits that capture the essence of the characters and are instantly recognisable. That is why I choose people such as John Lennon (above), well known personalities whom have given something to our society and whom I repect and admire and have been influenced by. Almost like a tribute.
