'Well' was the acoustic contamination project chosen for a historic area in Tuscany, in which different kinds of performances shared the artistic context of the 'Collinarea Festival 2006', to celebrate the organic unity between the inhabitants of the town and the authentic landscape. The installation tried to complete the visitor's perception of a historic surrounding, for example a castle, which normally happens on a visual and an olfactory level, by all the different stimulations that soundesign has to offer. So people can better perceive the plasticity of the original architectural space. The different kind of audio frequencies, embedded in several parts of the place, in combination with the individual and emotionalinterest from every visitor, was supposed to represent the idea of an organic space. Due to the minimal visibility of the multichannel audio equipments, every person was stimulated to live a personal experience, getting mixed up with the experimental context.
