This etching, SEGOVIAN MOON, uses the printmaking techniques of intaglio, aquatint, drypoint and chine collé; it is the third work created in my WORD PLAY SERIES, a group of prints that examine the relationship between the brain’s left and right hemispheres. It is intimate in size (image size is 4” high by 3” wide [10.14 cm. x 7.6 cm.]; paper size is 10” x 7” [25.4 cm. 18 cm.]; frame size is 12 x 9.5 [31 cm. x 23 cm.]. The oil-based ink (black) is Charbonnel brand and the paper is Rives BFK white (both from France). The orange mulberry-bark paper used in the chine collé process is Unryu brand from Thailand. My price does not include shipment or insurance during shipment; shipment costs vary and depend upon destination and mailing method.
