This print is from my series entitled MYSTERIOUS PLACES/ SACRED SPACES. The etching techniques include intaglio, chine colle and drypoint. This work is from two editions (one edition of twenty-five prints without chine collé and one of ten that uses chine collé process); oil-based ink printed on white RIVES BFK paper); chine collé edition uses mulberrybark paper from Thailand. The image represents one of the most sacred places in the Islamic faith, The Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem (a mosque). Price includes frame but not shipment. Image size is ten inches wide (25.4 cm) by eight inches high (20.3 cm); frame size is normally 40.64cm (16 inches) wide by 50.8 cm high (20 inches). The image is from a photograph in the US Library of Congress [Washington, DC - Matson (G. Eric & Edith) Photograph Collection, which was taken between 1898 and 1914]. Weight is an estimate.
