Christ’s funerary linen has long been the subject of scientific, historical and religious debate. The idea here was not to offer any opinion on the veracity of the famous shroud, but rather to concentrate on the archeiropoetic image itself and its metaphysical, almost indelible power. The multiplication of the image reflects the multitude of attempts to understand this mystery.
