This is a limited edition, warm-tone archival, pigment inkjet photograph, #4/25 created by L. A. Vogel from The Mask Series. The photograph is printed by the artist on museum quality heavy weight exhibition fiber paper. All photographs are signed and numbered by the artist. The edition is limited to 25 prints. Prices increase by 30% as each group of five prints sell. The images were made in 1995 - 1996 and printed in 2012.

The Mask Series is a body of work I created from a series of ceramic masks, which I hand-crafted specifically for this project. I am most interested in that place where we stand at the threshold of the known and the unknown. I am inspired by the unknown and motivated by doubt and skepticism. The Mask Series is an exploration of the faint line which separates spirituality and religion.
