"The need for a satisfaction almost full and never achieved…devouring what our soul is passionate for and that what the flesh desires." - Ricardo Bento

According to Christianity, humanity suffers from basic instincts that cloud the purity of mind and deviates mankind from the path that leads to God.
St. Thomas Aquinas was one of the theologians who helped in the definition of those instincts that would be considered unforgivable and worthy of divine condemnation: the seven deadly sins.
By doing this work, the artist dares into the dangerous fusion of three elements that challenge the fragile difference between sin and passion, forcing us to reflect upon the controversial decision of the divine to bless us with free will ... the same that can lead to condemnation.
The seven deadly sins are: Envy, Greed, Glutony, Luxury, Vanity, Sloth, Wrath.
Sins, Passions and Gambling...an eccentric dance of moral values. An alchemy possible to achieve if we challenge our minds to accept that challenge, defeat and victory are part of a journey we must take and embrace.
Subtlety and Refinement ... simply addictive!
