The photoseries Portraits was made for and part of the exhibition Stuffed, which showed the old craft of taxidermy.
‘Preparing animals gives one the possibility to observe wild animals form all angles. Animals change into objects, of which we can feel the fur and study it’s drawing. With these photos we want to emphasis again the emotion. Trough the camera we look at the stuffed animals in a penetrating way and they also seem to look back.
Despite it are pictures of silenced nature, the animals seem more than ever alive and having own characters.’

The picture is printed (animal) scale 1:1 on Dibond and has a frame at the back to hang it on the wall.
