He emerging all problems of the individuals through one careful psychological surveying of the subject, by representing them during a moment of rest, meditation, loneliness, perhaps incapable to react to their sad destiny. Their eyes express intimate secrets, through a lyric suggestion that involved the viewer in the feeling of uneasiness of the contemporary human being.(A. Midgley)
