From the series of images called "Doleful Pleasures of a Melancholic Heart." Inspired by something J. M. W. Turner had to say about Antoine Watteau. He believed Watteau lived a melancholy life and only pleasure he had was painting stylized utopian gardens filled with gallant and elegant aristocrats at play.
Although, I was quite happy while making these melancholy industrial landscapes I couldn't resist stealing this quote as a title.
