Cain waterfall near Dolgellau. This subject was visited by Samuel Palmer in 1835. I have studied Palmers works for years so I thought it would be interesting to hunt out the exact location of his famous paintings. I found what I thought was the spot , but there were two waterfalls where the river forked. Each one looked a bit like palmers painting.
