Lia Melia It is as always with you, the strength and simplicity of the composition is what attracts me firstly.For a reason that is hard to analysis, even with the warmer skin tones, and pink used in the dress, your image still manages to appear cool and pure.I think that there is a lot of dress, and that is tinged with blue tones too, and this is what creates the illusion. I try to create a kind of atmosphere with my paintings just as you write here. A strong compostition which is in fact very balanced, and a balance also in colors, warm and cold. repeting colors and repeting tones, and ofcourse a kind of longing in the whole atmosphere I guess...May 31, 2011 at 11:41 am

Janelle Simms This is beautiful. I really like your use of color, and I really enjoy the gaze engaging the viewer- it's not confrontational, but she definitely is acknowledging the audience.
I'm not sure if you're familiar with Cindy Sherman (photographer) but it kind of reminds me of a woman of the past, in a movie still kind of way. (Hope that makes sense...)
