The imag e is built up of overlapping transparent oil paint that uses no white pigment. No where have I made an outline and the effect depends largely on the radience of pigments below. Because I have nowhere concretely defined the outline, I have termed this method "perceptionalism" after the work of the great philosopher Leibniz. Leibniz ststed that perceptions are created from nothingness.
