Negar Kashian was born in the city of Hamedan, Iran. She com­pleted her ini­tial post sec­ondary edu­ca­tion in 2002, and a Bac­calau­re­ate degree in graphic arts in 2009.
Dur­ing the course of her stud­ies, she exhib­ited her works for the first time long with her fel­low stu­dents at a gallery in Hamedan in 2000.

In 2002, Negar Kashian received a dis­tinc­tion award from the province of Hamedan at a cer­e­mony to hon­our selected stu­dents in Arts & Cul­ture. Amongst her other sin­gu­lar accom­plish­ments in the years fol­low­ing her stud­ies are graphic arts exhi­bi­tion at Fer­dowsi Gallery in Tehran, and BooAli Sina Cen­tre in Hamedan in 2005, dis­tinc­tion award at a graph­ics arts fes­ti­val in Tehran in 2006, women’s graphic arts fes­ti­val in 2007, design of brochures & posters at Rumi Memo­r­ial sym­po­sium in Karaj in 2007, dis­play of her works at graphic arts expo­si­tion in the Arts & Cul­ture Cen­tre in Karaj in 2008.

Negar Kashian has been instru­men­tal in teach­ing and train­ing the new gen­er­a­tion of graphic artists and design­ers. She has instructed at Behzad Insti­tute of Graphic Arts from 2003 to 2009, Hafezieh Arts & Cen­tre from 2007 to 2009, and her own pri­vate work­shop from 2004 to 2009.

She is cur­rently a stu­dent of Arts in Kunst Acad­emy (Willem de Koon­ing) in Rot­ter­dam, Hol­land. She has been hon­ing her skills through­out her career under the guid­ance of Mas­ter Artist Hos­sein Kashanian.
