Negar Kashian was born in the city of Hamedan, Iran. She completed her initial post secondary education in 2002, and a Baccalaureate degree in graphic arts in 2009.
During the course of her studies, she exhibited her works for the first time long with her fellow students at a gallery in Hamedan in 2000.
In 2002, Negar Kashian received a distinction award from the province of Hamedan at a ceremony to honour selected students in Arts & Culture. Amongst her other singular accomplishments in the years following her studies are graphic arts exhibition at Ferdowsi Gallery in Tehran, and BooAli Sina Centre in Hamedan in 2005, distinction award at a graphics arts festival in Tehran in 2006, women’s graphic arts festival in 2007, design of brochures & posters at Rumi Memorial symposium in Karaj in 2007, display of her works at graphic arts exposition in the Arts & Culture Centre in Karaj in 2008.
Negar Kashian has been instrumental in teaching and training the new generation of graphic artists and designers. She has instructed at Behzad Institute of Graphic Arts from 2003 to 2009, Hafezieh Arts & Centre from 2007 to 2009, and her own private workshop from 2004 to 2009.
She is currently a student of Arts in Kunst Academy (Willem de Kooning) in Rotterdam, Holland. She has been honing her skills throughout her career under the guidance of Master Artist Hossein Kashanian.
