It looks like a realistic painting. However, there is a hidden concept of symbolism in my painting. Since the handover of Hong Kong in 1997, Hong Kong still has no democracy as it was promised in the Basic Law. The female nude laying on foreground symbolizes the openness of Hong Kong people to the China Regime. We just want our voice heard. However, we never get any feed back from Beijing where is so far away in the background. The “red, white, blue cloth” symbolizes Hong Kong.
