jack bainbridge Thanks Brian, yes it is oil paint on untreated plywood, with a spray varnish finish.

Tom O'brien Great painting, Jack. Have you ever heard of clear gesso? Winsor & Newton makes some. The plywood might otherwise leach acid through the paint, but you never know - that might be cool!

Rory Running This is great, I have been doing a lot of drawings/paintings on Masonite, plywood and other types of wood. I haven't done oil paint, but oil pastel also works really well with wood.
