Oil on Canvas, featuring local model and friend Michelle and the Penwith megalith Chun Quoit. One of the first paintings since optical damage last year disadvantaged my earlier finesse. (Commissioned and sold)
Andrew Gruffudd I can't fault this - the execution is exquisite. It reminds me a lot of Dali's work - are the elements within the picture representational, as they are in Dali's? What was in the mind of your patron?

Joff Day Andrew - I am privileged to already own two of Coudrille's paintings. This was commissioned for a friend for whom I wanted a painting that included several Coudrillian motifs (the moon - representing resurrection - being one). Despite the artist's self-deprecation, the piece is a very good example of his incredible eye for detail. I felt very pleased with the result - as did my friend.
