Print from original in oils & egg-tempera on canvas

An open edition print of the first of a triptych of paintings entitled 'Recovery Position'. They are based on engravings by 1930s Austrian scientific illustrator Ernst Haeckel, whose work is a great inspiration. The series charts the recovery of a friend from mental and physical breakdown, from a self-absorbed protection, through reaching out to make connections, to opening up to new possibilities.
