With “Dépanneur in the Forest” and “House in the Forest” the houses seem almost lost in the woods, engulfed by towering trees. Here, the glass and reflections of the windows have disappeared altogether, lending a false-front appearance to the facade, with the trees, sky and clouds behind visible through the openings of the windows.
