My new paintings are more extravagant than Road Nowhere else, being less literal about the actual precision of the address, and more exemplified by mythology (exaggerated real story rather than fictitious and just making things up), memory, energy of the essence of a character if there, etc. They also have more edge, with true perspective still being employed but much of the foreground has passovers, letting the sounds of the middle sections focus and warm the whole thing up.
Its 'modeled' on a place called Reservoir Road on the Fleurieu Peninsula. There will be others coming as i juggle different projects at the moment.
