Art Description

As with 'Sophie with Feather', this piece is referencing the Hollywood starlet, particularly of 1940s-60s cinema. The piece is also referencing the features and romanticism of Pre-Raphaelite models. The image mixes contemporary and traditional by including the model's actual tattoo (based on Leonardo's impossible puzzle drawing).
The figure is painted in oils, while the background and tattoo are light-reflective pigments.
