Mixed media on canvas. 24" x 18". 2009. A winter scene overlooked by a silvery moon. The technique provides a wonderful texture which builds dimension to the entire painting. Oils mixed with cold wax applied with a palette knife carefully built up through layers gives wonderful eye appeal and teases the senses as ones longs to touch the the hills and crevasses of paint.
