Kneeling is part of my Purity series using my signature impasto technique. it is highly textural with bold flowing lines and a wonderful sense of minimalism. this piece has been further enhanced by water soluble pastels to create the glowing colors.

This technique is heavily influenced by asian calligraphy techniques. Each line is repeated over and over until it's just right, a perfect blend of motion, line, form and color. the colors in the under-painting are carefully blended to glow as they emerge from the sculpted lines.

This piece will be carefully shipped fully stretched on extra wide stretchers with professional hanging hardware attached- ready to hang.
