Powdered pigments and solvent paints on aluminium
On September 12th, there was a beautiful Harvest Moon in the sign of Pisces. It had a brooding quality, and reminded me of this poem by Lawrence Durrell called "Lesbos"
......"But the dispiriting autumn moon,
In her slow expurgation of the sky
Needs company; is brooding on the dead,
And so am I now, so am I."
