My series "Icons" consists of characters and people who made me the person I am today. I made them look like roman-catholic icons because to me they are my personal heroes. They are made of wood and paper with airbrush, pens, pencils, acrylics and gold and are about 40x56 cm. Every icon has on its back a quote from themselves that expresses best what I see in them. This is Vincent Van Gogh. His quote is: "I put my heart and my soul into my work and have lost my mind in the process."
