Paul White I live on the coast and regularly watch kite surfers skipping over the waves. Once tried holding onto a fully blown kite, on the beach, the wind took hold and I flew into the air, only to come down with bump 40mtrs later. Nearly squashing my dog who was determined not to leave my side. Not tried it since, I think I might well be carried to the other side of the Wash if I did.....still never say never:-) September 30, 2011 at 11:13 am
