This artwork is my tribute to the courage of the Australien Prime Minister Kevin Rudd for his sorry speech on February 13, 2008 and shows my respect for the culture and the rights of the australian natives.
Some words of the extract (below) of the sorry speach is written on my picture:
"We apologise especially for the removal of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children from their families, their communities and their country.
For the pain, suffering and hurt of these stolen generations, their descendants and for their families left behind, we say sorry."
The artwork is painted in an encaustic mixed technique.
