My name is June Katz and I am a contemporary artist working and internationally exhibiting for the past twenty years in New Zealand, Australia and Israel. My inspiration comes from life on our planet...
: The Rhythm of Urban Time
The Rhythm of Urban Time is an abstract expressionism painting exhibition inspired by the atmosphere and environment we live in today. Exploring the way our perception and impression of a space around us, is influenced by the ever changing rush of people, the architecture maze of buildings, the music and mix of cultures and nature. In this exhibition I would like to share my ideas and thoughts about the situation of our planet today, and the way communities strive and flourish while trying to keep the natural environment unharmed.
This exhibition will take the viewer on a journey of colours, brush strokes, layers of shapes and transparency, which will be painted like music in an endless space time.
Some of the issues my art work will explore are the unique structures and personality of different places, some, very hectic and chaotic others more settled and lyric.
There are certain populated environments in our modern world today that are multicultural, divers and busy , while other communities are built in a more natural and pastoral space.
