Art Description

A mongrel signifying a socially disadvantaged innocent. Heading along a perfect lane which leads out of a thicket and far away.

This painting was entered in Rachael's application for the 2010 Jerwood Fellowship, that made it through to the second round in the judging.

It was also selected for the 2010 National Open at Chichester, where it sold.

Rachael Adams The little hardy mongrel goes by the name of Stanley. When I head out into the landscape, he accompanies me - always trotting ahead, and occasionally looking over his shoulder to check that I'm still behind... I'm so chuffed you like my picture.

Lara De'pfeffel the picture and stanley are lovely- he might like to b refered to as a motley mix -nicer than mongrel.
