Perfecting love is difficult and struggle to keep it alive is the fight one can see in many relations. Emotions of wanting and the threat of loosing is exhausting, but the core remains alive keeping the struggle beautiful.

Warmth, depth and bursting with emotions

Deep red and brown is definite to trigger emotions, bringing warmth and comfort. Heavily textured and scratched through out the process to bring out the inner layers of colours. Simple but complex layers bring out the beautiful patterns and shades portrays grace and clam that translates in to a very emotional piece of original art. Beautiful blending of deep red, brown and black fused with sensual blue that appears to tell a story.

Size and material

Struggling love was painted with various layers of acrylic shades, dominated by red, brown and blue onto a double-primed linen canvas then hand stretched by me around a pine hardwood frame measuring 48 inches x 54 inches x 1.5 inches deep and stapled on the reverse. Main texture based on coarse pumice and scratched acrylic paint. Two coats of UV-resistant varnish were applied to protect the pigments in the paints.
