In this work, a set of ten paintings , it has been tried to focus on a portrait/figure painting style of persons from different nationalities, blended by representative cultural patterns and shape-based Persian calligraphy decorated by Persian poets or a description of the painter’s knowledge, feeling or experience about the “girls she knows”. The exhibition also tries to seek a proper way to represent the painter’s experience as a foreigner in a new world with different culture and life style. To do this technically, a set of tuned, well-known patterns mostly common in Iran has been used using acrylic. Mixing with Persian words strongly reflects the painter’s introspective study of cultural differences while pursuing a technique to deform the words on the body of objects in some works.
