‘Father McKenzie’: This is basically my interpretation of some of the Beatles lyrics to their song; ‘Eleanor Rigby’. In my version, Eleanor has bequeathed the face that she wore to Father McKenzie. As can be seen, he still keeps it in a jar by the door. Original acrylic painting on box canvas. Painted mostly from my imagination, the only reference used was for the packet of Woodbines on his table.
