Tribute to Kai Z. Feng
Inspired by the photographic work of Kai Z Feng, this intricate piece features beautiful glimpses of the divine female form. I wanted to saturate the image in maximalistic intensity and really contrast the stable effortless female form. With the blue background, I was able to create a swirling aquatic environment, much like the vibrant beauty of a coral reef. I spent a great deal of time passionately creating this monumental painting, and I still stop and gaze at all the minute details and breathtaking colors.
