Imagine you are travelling in one of the great caravans into Asia in medieval times to discover the treasures of the east and to find out the techniques and methods of the creation of silk and other textiles- you grab a snippet here and there and construct them into a memory cloth- each little piece a place in your journey- a haptic memory .
