My favorite muscial is Les Miserables. Although Victor Hugo's novel, Les Miserables, had to do with a student uprising in Paris in 1832, my image entitled "Picket Line at the Gate" is a reflection of the failure of business, the rise of unemployment and the increase in the cost of living. It is reminiscent of the demonstrations conducted by Occupy Wall Street protesters in New York City which began in September of 2011.
