"American Renaissance" series are about different generations of emigrants who have arrived to USA.It was very hard to adopt new habits and new habitat. However most of them had not chance to return back. They have brought with them their culture, lifestyle, education. Mostly they had europian background but living in new land they mixed everything creating new art, new culture (eclectic), new life. Most photos that I use as a mixed media attribute are very old and original. They were taken in their countries (Armenia, Italy, Mexico, Russia, France) and they are very sacred for emigrants who never stop to dream about their homeland.I also use emigrants homesick letters. I did a huge research and all these materials motivated me to think about the chain of humanity-from where we were and are now.
